Start from a picture
Generation now takes a reference image — hand Lucy a picture and ask for an image in its style or a video that starts from it, in both Easy and Professional modes.
Features:
- Reference images for image generation. Attach any picture — upload it, drag it in, paste it, or pick one from your library — and describe what you want: a watercolor version, the same character somewhere new, your product in a different scene. Seedream generates from your reference for the same 1 token.
- Reference images for video. The first-frame picker now accepts uploads and drag-drop too, so any image on your machine can become the opening frame of a generated clip — not just ones already in your library.
- Easy mode gets a paperclip. Attach a reference right in the prompt dock and the whole still-to-motion flow builds on your picture.
Improvements:
- Oversized references are downscaled automatically before upload, so large photos just work.
